Getting started: our tips

Have you just received your Maison Alméa wall light or pendant light? This guide brings together our tips on installation, choosing a bulb and care.

1. Installation

Our lights are fitted using the hardware supplied. Always switch off the power before any work. For the electrical connection, call in a professional if you have the slightest doubt.

2. Choosing the right bulb

Check the fitting shown on the product page (for example E14 or E27). For a cosy atmosphere, choose a warm white bulb (around 2700K). An LED bulb uses little energy and gives off little heat.

3. Caring for the materials

  • Stone and travertine: dust with a soft, dry cloth.
  • Wood: slightly damp cloth, then dry.
  • Rattan and bamboo: dust gently, avoid excess moisture.
  • Metal: soft cloth; avoid abrasive products.
