The bar pivots on its axis: you angle the line of light downwards for reading, upwards to light the ceiling, or diagonally. The light comes out through an acrylic diffuser strip running along the full length of the bar.

Adjustability is the point of this light: the same wall light serves as directed reading light or indirect ambient light depending on the angle chosen, and can be readjusted by hand without tools. The acrylic diffuser spreads the light along the whole strip instead of concentrating it in one point, which avoids the harsh halo of a spotlight. Lighting is provided by an integrated LED: there is no lampholder or bulb to screw in, the light connects directly to the wires. There is no bulb to buy, but the source cannot be replaced.

Materials: solid wood, iron backplate, acrylic diffuser

Head: swivelling, angle adjustable by hand

Light source: integrated LED, not replaceable

Connection: direct to the wires, no lampholder

Installation: wall-mounted, no assembly required

Power supply: mains, alternating current

Warranty: 2 years

Installation: wall-mounted via the backplate, delivered assembled.
